Getting started
Using StrokeStyler
The UI is designed to integrate and blend in with the After Effects interface seamlessly. It has three tabs; Dashes, Taper and Wave. We’ll go through each one below.
The StrokeStyler panel
When StrokeStyler retrieves the stroke property values to display in the panel, if there are no dashes present, the panel will look like this:
No dashes present
To add dashes, first check the Dashed Line
box.
Check the Dashed Line box
This will activate the fields below where you can now enter your desired dash and gap values. Similarly, if you want to remove the dashes completely, just uncheck the same box. If you have some default values saved, they will be applied automatically.

, and the previous fields are still empty, StrokeStyler will automatically ****add a 0
into both the Dash 1
and Gap 1
**fields.

To remove dashes or gaps, hold down the option key
on macOS or the alt key
on Windows and click the text under the corresponding field of the dash or gap that you’d like to remove.

, then Gap 2
, Dash 3
and Gap 3
would also be removed.
