Overview

QualityControl works between After Effects sessions by saving your properties to its preferences using the file path of your project. So, if you change the file path of your project, the presets will not be found.

In order to save your presets when moving files, you can use the Import and Export buttons found in the Preset Manager.

Export

When exporting your presets, after clicking the Export button, another window will popup. This window contains the settings for your export.

You can choose which presets to export and whether you’d like to reveal the exported .qc file after exporting. Clicking OK will bring up a window where you must choose what to call the export and where to save it.

Import

When importing your presets, after clicking the Import button, another window will popup. This window contains the settings for your import.

You can choose which presets to import and whether you’d like to merge or replace any properties currently saved to the project.
