Getting started
Using QualityControl
QualityControl works between After Effects sessions by saving your properties to its preferences using the file path of your project. So, if you change the file path of your project, the presets will not be found.
In order to save your presets when moving files, you can use the Import
and Export
buttons found in the Preset Manager
.
Import and Export buttons
When exporting your presets, after clicking the Export
button, another window will popup. This window contains the settings for your export.
Export settings
You can choose which presets to export and whether you’d like to reveal the exported .qc
file after exporting. Clicking OK
will bring up a window where you must choose what to call the export and where to save it.
<aside> <img src="/icons/light-bulb_gray.svg" alt="/icons/light-bulb_gray.svg" width="40px" /> The exported file will have a .qc file extension.
