Pre-compose Pro is a major update to the native AE Pre-compose tool — Pre-compose Pro gives you a brand new pre-comping experience with loads of new features.

The Pre-compose Pro window
First, close After Effects if it’s open. Unzip the zip file that you’ve downloaded from aescripts. On macOS, copy the ‘PrecomposePro.plugin’ to your plugins folder. On Windows, copy ‘PrecomposePro.jsxbin’ to your Scripts folder. If you’re not sure where this is, don’t worry. Here’s a handy reminder:
MacOS: /Applications/Adobe After Effects (version)/Plug-ins
Windows: Program Files\\Adobe\\Adobe After Effects (version)\\Support Files\\Scripts
And that's it! Just reopen After Effects and find Pre-compose Pro in the layer menu (macOS) or launch it by clicking File > Scripts > PrecomposePro.jsxbin (Windows).

Well, I guess all good things must come to an end. To uninstall Pre-compose Pro, simply locate the PrecomposePro.jsxbin or the PrecomposePro.plugin file and delete it. Come back soon!
