If you’re using a monospaced font, it’s best to toggle this option on before adding your emojis. It just gives AfterEmoji a heads-up that all characters are the same width, so it works out the maths slightly differently. The button is yellow when turned on and grey when turned off.

Monospaced Character

In order to correctly find the position of your emojis, a specific placeholder is used. You can choose what this character is in the settings. You will only need to change this if it conflicts with any character in your text layer.
